- 64 caramels
- ⅔ cup evaporated canned milk, Not Eagle Brand
- 2 cups flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 ½ cups brown sugar
- 1 ½ cups margarine
- 2 cups oats
- 141 small muffin papers
Preheat oven to 350
Cream margarine and sugar together
Add flour, salt, soda, and oats
Place 1/2 of mixture in bottom of a 9x13 pan
Bake in 350 oven for 10 mins.
Add 1 bag of chocolate chips over 1st half of mixture
Pour melted caramel over chocolate chips. Add the rest of batter over caramel.
Bake 20 min. until light brown.
Cool, cut into 1 inch squares and place pieces in small muffin papers
